Terms of use
Sunperch gives estimates, references and suggestions. It does not make legal or electrical decisions for you.

Not legal or electrical advice
The app and this website summarize plug-in solar laws and estimate how much energy a panel might produce. They are not legal advice, not electrical advice, and not a substitute for an attorney or a licensed electrician. Laws change and sources sometimes disagree. Before you buy or install anything, check the bill text, your utility, and your landlord or association.
Rules checks
When the app compares a device with your state's rules, each item says it "looks like it meets this", "may not meet this" or that you should "confirm with the relevant party". These are references, not determinations of compliance.
Notice letters
Draft letters are generated by software from the facts you enter and the state you choose. They are not written or reviewed by a lawyer. You are responsible for checking, editing and deciding whether to send them.
Estimates
Energy and savings figures are estimates based on measured or entered angles, regional sunshine data and assumptions such as electricity price. Real output depends on weather, equipment, installation and shading, and will differ.
Purchases
Sunperch Pro is a one-time in-app purchase sold by Apple under Apple's terms. Refunds are handled by Apple.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Sunperch is provided "as is", and we are not liable for decisions you make based on it, including purchases, installations, or communications with your utility, landlord or association.
